Cloud and Platform Engineering Role

This is a key position for an experienced professional who will design, secure, and automate cloud-native solutions.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud & Platform Engineer to join our team.
  • You will collaborate with architects, developers, and cybersecurity specialists to embed security into every phase of the software development lifecycle.
  • As a member of our Technology Consulting team, you will play a key role in designing, securing, and automating cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions: using platforms like AWS or Azure, supporting infrastructure modernization and automation efforts.
  2. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines: that integrate security controls, improve deployment efficiency, and ensure compliance with secure development practices.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: to gather requirements, develop use cases, and translate business needs into technical solutions that align with enterprise architecture goals.
  4. Embed security into every stage of the development lifecycle: performing code analysis, vulnerability assessments, and threat modelling across cloud-native and containerized applications.
  5. Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices: using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, enabling repeatable and auditable infrastructure deployments.
  6. Document architecture decisions and technical specifications: ensuring clarity and alignment across business, technology, and compliance stakeholders.
  7. Conduct internal training and onboarding sessions: to promote secure coding practices and DevSecOps culture within delivery teams.
  8. Stay current with cloud, security, and DevOps trends: applying insights to continuously improve system resilience, automation, and strategic alignment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and assess system-wide impacts.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical risks into business impacts, communicate to diverse audiences and documenting solutions clearly.
  • Experience working in agile or DevOps environments with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Collaborative and proactive, eager to work across teams.
  • Growth-oriented, with a passion for learning new technologies, receiving feedback, and applying knowledge to real-world challenges.
