Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator. As an educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children and contributing to their growth and development.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a curriculum that is engaging, interactive, and aligned with the principles of the ECE Framework. You will create a secure and nurturing environment for children, fostering meaningful relationships with them and their families.

You will also actively engage in centre initiatives, contribute to educational programs and projects, and establish good relationships with parents as partners in care and education. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date with the latest educational developments and continually upgrade your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan and implement the curriculum under the guidance of the Centre Supervisor.
  • Create a secure and quality learning environment for children through fostering nurturing, trustful, respectful and meaningful relationships with them.
  • Actively engages in Centre initiatives to support its collaborative efforts with the community.
  • Contribute one's talents and professional expertise towards the centre's initiatives, educational programmes and projects.
  • Establish good relationships with parents as partners in care and education.
  • Keep abreast of the latest educational development and to continually upgrade one's skills and knowledge.
  • Be involved in simple action research projects.
  • Role-model professionalism in appearance, speech and action.
  • Achieve at least 25 hours of CPD, including courses and other CPD activities, in the calendar year.
Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)

Good communication and interpersonal skills

A team player

Experience in the Early Childhood is an added advantage

We have centres located in Singapore. Candidates without early childhood certificate are also welcome to apply. We will provide on-job training and send the candidates to take up early childhood course.

We prefer candidates to work full-time.
