EtonHouse Pre-School Pte Ltd is currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Principal (ECDA School) in our institution. As an accomplished leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the academic and non-academic teams to ensure the school meets its targets.

Job Description
  • We are seeking an exceptional leader who can develop and implement the overall strategic direction of the school in alignment with our Group's goals and objectives.
  • This involves devising long-term and short-term development plans to support the achievement of the school's overall direction and objectives, presenting these plans to the Board for approval, and executing and monitoring them to ensure progress.
  • You will be accountable for overseeing the daily operations of the school, establishing and reviewing standard operating procedures, and ensuring the school environment is well-maintained and well-resourced.

As Head of Curriculum Management, you will lead the school in managing its curriculum design in collaboration with the Pedagogy team at Headquarters. This includes ensuring the quality, balance, and relevance of the academic, pastoral, and after-school activities in the curriculum received by students within the framework of the adopted curriculum.

You will also be responsible for allocating students to classes while considering factors such as age, friendship groupings, previous class placement, learning, and development considerations. Additionally, you will ensure that required child-staff ratios in all classes are met.

As part of your duties, you will build and maintain a professional and positive relationship with the parent community, ensuring timely, effective, and regular communication about the progress of their children.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Education, 5 years of leadership experience, and 8-10 years of teaching experience working with preschoolers. A background in inquiry-based curriculum and international experience, especially in Asia, is highly valued.
