**Role Overview**
As an Officer / Centre for Animal Rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the health and welfare of animals through comprehensive and integrated programmes. You will work closely with partners in the veterinary and animal-related industries to strengthen capacities and enhance competencies in animal health and welfare.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Oversee the rehoming of animals from the Centre for Animal Rehabilitation
  • Monitor animal progress in the rehabilitation journey to assess readiness for rehoming
  • Work with rehabilitation partners on animal adoption
  • Liaise with and screen potential adopters
  • Facilitate paperwork for animal adoption
  • Provide pre- and post-adoption support
  • Assist with record keeping and ad-hoc duties as required


**Requirements**
  • Diploma in Veterinary Technology / Veterinary Bioscience / Biological Sciences / Psychology or Nitec/Higher Nitec in Applied & Health Sciences courses with 2 years of relevant working experience preferred
  • Passionate about animals
  • Positive attitude, high level of initiative, energetic, physically fit, enjoys outdoor activity
  • Independent and able to work effectively with others in a team environment
  • Required to work on weekends and public holidays based on roster
  • Willingness and dedication in acquiring new skills and knowledge related to animal care and rehabilitation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Possess good digital awareness, social media, and video editing skills


**Working Arrangements**
The successful candidate will be offered a 9-month employment contract. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
