Logistics Coordinator Job Description

This role involves coordinating the delivery of goods to customers and ensuring timely collections from senders.

  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to the customer and goods collections from Senders
  • Collect invoices assigned
  • Loading and Unloading of goods
  • Follow route and time schedule
  • Following delivery/pickup instruction from Manager
  • Check and ensure that the total goods number match with Packing List
  • Ensure customers do stock check before leaving the premise

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
  • Identify electrical and mechanical problems that may hinder smooth working of the car an carry out minor repairs and maintenance where necessary
  • Consider different routes, check climate and traffic reports to decide the best time to travel and the best route to take
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
  • Preparing necessary supplies/equipment beforehand daily
  • Ensure that customers sign with company stamp on the invoice as acknowledgement of receipt upon delivery of goods
  • Adhere to all safety requirement
  • Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of Class 3 driving license
  • Physically fit
  • Positive attitude
