Procurement Category Manager

Liaise closely with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and budget. Lead the procurement process for assigned categories of spend across the entire lifecycle from sourcing, evaluation, and contracting.

Influence and partner stakeholders to ensure business objectives and procurement governance are met. Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with suppliers and communicate procurement-related issues effectively.

Maintain accurate records of all elements of the Market Data Inventory System, including contracts, pricing, user profiles, vendor uploads, and tracking spare licenses for reallocation or cancellation.

Monitor and enforce compliance with terms and conditions of market data vendors/exchanges agreements.

Contribute to the design, preparation, and analysis of reports and findings in a clear, logical, manner. Participate in work process improvement initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

  • Good degree with 3-6 years of relevant work experience relating to the job description.
  • Experience and knowledge of market data is preferred.
  • Tech savvy; passionate about exploring and learning new skills and knowledge and applying on day-to-day work.
  • Resourceful and has broad knowledge of procurement practices, market data services, and vendor management.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and can interact with internal stakeholders at varying levels in the organization.
  • Strong team-player yet exhibits independence in driving and delivering business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks with poise and discretion in a fast-paced environment.
