We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Localization Tester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and linguistic quality of localized content in games. Your passion for gaming and commitment to excellence will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.
As a Localization Tester, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and fix issues affecting game localization. This includes making text changes, writing detailed bug reports, performing regression testing, and collaborating with partner teams to deliver high-quality results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Native level of Korean (testing language) with excellent spelling and grammar
- Good command of the English language for instructions, testing documentation, and team communications
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in computer science, game design, or related field preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask, prioritize to meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and understanding of digital technologies
This is an onsite position requiring you to work during core business hours at our office in Singapore. As a mandatory requirement, you must have the right to work in Singapore and be willing to provide supporting documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, isolate, document, and fix localization/linguistic issues using test tools or databases
- Follow and complete Test Cases/Checklists to perform targeted testing and execute relevant testing processes and procedures
- Write bug descriptions based on company standards and client specifications
- Collaborate with partner teams to test the product and offer constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance
Awareness of user preferences in the target market is essential for influencing the client's product. Familiarity with different testing methodologies and experience with game localization will also be beneficial. Experience with software localization or quality assurance is desirable but not required.
