Job Description

The Flight Operations Division within the Crew/Manpower Planning Department at Singapore Airlines is seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Planning Strategist to join their team.

This role plays a pivotal part in maximizing cost efficiency and crew productivity while ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Optimize Crew Operating Patterns (COPs) to ensure seamless flight operations and efficient resource allocation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including management and union representatives, to implement COPs effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date systems for roster preparation by reviewing and inputting COPs promptly.
  • Analyze manpower requirements for SIA cabin crew, providing critical insights for strategic planning.
  • Forecast flying hours to align with company network plans and long-term objectives.
  • Review and adjust projections to meet evolving crewing needs and COPs whenever there are changes to the airline's network.
  • Collaborate with IT and Data Analytics departments to enhance systems and develop reports for informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in IT or strong interests in this area.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities, with a focus on stakeholder management.
