The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team at Parkway Pantai Limited. As a Senior Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for the collection, handling, and processing of blood specimens from adult, paediatric, and infant patients as ordered by clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect blood specimens from patients using various techniques, including venipuncture, capillary collection, and blood culture specimen collection.
  • Ensure timely and accurate collection of breath samples for the Urea Breath Test.
  • Acquire knowledge and skills on Laboratory Information System and required IT systems.
  • Assist in managing and inventorying supplies in the laboratory.
  • Rotate duties between hospitals as determined by the Manager.
  • Work alongside laboratory managers and colleagues to achieve total quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the overall performance of the section assigned.
  • Provide induction and training of new Phlebotomists.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certified Phlebotomist
  • At least 3 years of experience in Phlebotomy with experience in venipuncture for adults, paediatrics, and infants.
  • Supervisory experience is an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Patient/customer service-oriented.
