Key Murex Consultant Role

Job Description:

This role involves developing and maintaining post-trade workflows using Murex MXML. Key responsibilities include creating transformation logic, building custom tasks in MXML Exchange, documenting functional and technical specifications, and producing exception reports for failures.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in Murex MXML and back office domain.
  • Strong understanding of Murex architecture and post-trade workflows.
  • Experience in developing data dictionary formulas and integrating external systems with Murex.
  • Good working knowledge of XML, XSLT, Shell scripts, SQL, and basic functional understanding.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing post-trade, confirmation, and settlement work flows on structured products.
  • Good working knowledge of MxML Exchange module (interfaces) in MX.3.
  • Understanding of trade life cycle and basic functional understanding.
  • Good understanding of BO process - contract, event & deliverables, exposure to settlements, confirmations, fixing process, and accounting configuration.
