We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Careers@Gov. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a lead role in managing contractors to design, supply, install, test, and commission rail communications systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contractors to deliver high-quality rail communications systems, including fibre-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address, and telephony systems.
  • Ensure the safety, quality, progress, and environmental impact of contractors' works.
  • Assist in planning and managing risks and cash flows of various contracts.
  • Issue instructions and assess variations, payments, and claims.
  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders, and the appointed Railway Operator to ensure project coordination.
  • Prepare tender specifications and participate in tender evaluation and award.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in senior positions.
  • Strong project management, decision-making, and leadership skills with proven track records.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player with analytical, resourceful, and result-oriented qualities.
  • Able to perform occasional night works, including weekends and public holidays.
