At our IT support group, we are committed to ensuring that our work practices align with legal requirements and industry standards. As an Environmental Control Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high safety standards and compliance.

  • Ensure that all procedures are updated with the latest Codes of Practice and government legislation.\
  • Assist in reviewing our EHS management system and provide recommendations for improvement.\
  • Establish and supervise monitoring programmes to ensure effectiveness.\
  • Provide monthly reports on EHS system operation and performance.\

You will also be responsible for ensuring that work practices in projects meet legal and 3rd party audit requirements, including WSH, ISO, GGB, ConSASS, and Bizsafe. This involves conducting regular inspections to maintain high safety standards and compliance.

\

To achieve this, you will need to exercise control in enforcing compliances to legal requirements and in-house rules. You will also be involved in pre-project planning and advise on measures to take in terms of traffic, security, visitors, public, and neighbors' engagement and management.

\
