Job Title

Transformative AI Governance Professional Wanted

We are seeking a visionary AI Governance expert to spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive AI governance strategy and playbook. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure responsible AI adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop a strategic plan to guide responsible AI development, deployment, and usage, addressing challenges such as explainability, fairness, privacy, security, accountability, transparency, and robustness.
2. Create and implement a structured AI governance playbook to operationalize the governance strategy and address emerging AI risks.
3. Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to design AI systems with safety and ethics in mind, establishing metrics and monitoring processes to track AI system compliance with governance standards.
4. Conduct red-teaming exercises to identify potential AI safety risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

Education:
Postgraduate/tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other quantitative fields.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years in technology development, with at least 3 years of experience in large-scale, multi-site projects. Strong knowledge of AI/ML, data science, and AI safety is required. Experience in red-teaming and AI safety initiatives is an advantage.

Technical Skills:
Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and trends. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is necessary.

Additional Skills:
Strong facilitation, organizational, and strategic foresight abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. Domain knowledge in the Homeland Security sector is an advantage.
