Job Title: Armament Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Armament Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical and mechanical tasks, including loading heavy spares parts and components, repair, maintenance, overhaul, service, replacement, removal, and installation of equipment. Additionally, they will perform lubricant replacing, greasing, and flushing of systems, wiring replacing, tracking, and diagnostics, as well as machinery usage involving overhead cranes and special technical equipment.

Working at height, climbing up and down vehicles, is also an essential aspect of this role. Furthermore, the Armament Technician will be required to maintain 5S/housekeeping standards.

Requirements:
  • Nitec in any engineering field is a must-have qualification.
  • Able to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems will be an added advantage.
  • Training will be provided to ensure the candidate has the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this position.
Key Skills:
  • Overhaul and Preventive Maintenance are crucial aspects of this role.
  • Troubleshooting, Water, Wiring, Housekeeping, and 5S are also key skills required.
  • Electrical, Vehicles, Driving License, Army, Manufacturing, Electronics, Food Service, Working at Height, and Calibration are other essential skills.
