We are seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team at the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in process modelling and machine learning, with experience in developing chemical process models and simulation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement process models using tools such as Matlab, gPROMS, and Aspen Custom Modeller.
- Collaborate with our team to develop an ontological representation of physical process models relevant to manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
- Link process models with a Knowledge Graph to enable data-driven decision making.
- Work closely with pharmaceutical manufacturing companies to develop and implement process models.
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Modelling, or a related field.
- Strong background in process modelling and machine learning.
- Experience in developing chemical process models and simulation.
- Excellent knowledge of process modelling background and theory, including unit operations, mass & heat transfer models, chemical reactor design, and separation processes.
- Knowledge of OntoCAPE and process ontologies is an advantage.

- A one-year contract in the first instance, extendable following satisfactory performance.
