Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team at Masters Career Consultancy Pte Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing design activities such as New Product Introduction, Line Expansion, Design Changes, etc. This includes designing battery cells for Power Tools (PT), Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE), and Battery Backup Unit (BBU).

You will also be involved in Design Review & Standardization for quality improvement, including yield and productivity. Additionally, you will support quality trouble investigations, including cell performance risks assessment.

Your responsibilities will include performing cell analysis for cell design verification and evaluation or defect root cause investigation. You will also analyze engineering test results and perform tasks or projects assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Engineering / Physics / Chemistry
  • 2 years of experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, project management skills, and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work well as a team player while being independent and proactive
  • Positive attitude in challenging work environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, JMP, SPC, DOE, and Statistics are added advantages
  • Able to work in a clean room & dry room (0% humidity) (Line Trial or Sample Making)
