Job Title: Data Strategy Lead

 

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and data analysis. He/She will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop innovative solutions that drive revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve data-driven decision making across the organization
  • Lead technical teams to design, develop, and implement large-scale data pipelines and architectures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable plans
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team's skills are current and relevant
  • Ensure the team meets deadlines and delivers high-quality results
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in software engineering and data analysis
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with technical team management (be capable to manage team with size of 2 -3 people above)
  • Proficiency with data pipeline building, ETL, open source or traditional relational databases
  • Proficiency with analytic software programming skills
  • Familiarity with Web Development (e.g. Java Spring framework) and Application Development (e.g. APP, H5, Mini Program)
  • Experience with data science methods and scaling data science methods
  • Analytic reasoning and complex problem solving involving mathematical programming and big data problems
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, Cloud service (Ali Cloud, Azure, AWS)
  • Experience with client service and project management
  • Fluent in English communication
