We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our aerospace industry segment. As a key member of our APAC Business Development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of this sector and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Missions / Activities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to identify and analyze trends in the aerospace industry.
- Support the Director of Business Development in defining the global strategic plan for customer segments and markets.
- Pursue strategic partnerships with customers, partners, and suppliers to expand your business sector.
- Attend industry trade shows to explore new leads and establish a professional network with productive contacts among existing and potential customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and participation in professional societies.
- Business Management:
- Ensure exceptional sales and support experiences for customers.
- IDentify, develop, and maintain relationships with new contacts to uncover new projects, requests, and trends among customers.
- Serve as the focal point and escalation point for clients, coordinating between internal departments and clients effectively.
- Propose process and policy improvements to optimize the entire business.
- Manage crises and escalations in the event of customer problems.
- Contract Management:
- Secure long-term business opportunities by identifying contract potential aligned with the company's overall strategy.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients in collaboration with the contract management team.
- E nsure a clear understanding and execution of contract terms among stakeholders.
- Work with Product Managers and Contract Managers to develop relevant and attractive contract proposals for long-term opportunities.
- Submit and follow up on sales contract proposals in cooperation with the contract management team.
- Regularly review global contracts to ensure they are executed as agreed upon.
- Performance & Reporting:
- Share valuable insights from customer and competitor data.
- Prepare reports on customer engagement, opportunity analysis, and pipeline management for your sales territory.
- Conduct market research, compile data, and prepare reports for sales and site management.
- Analyze historical data to determine order frequency, trends, and product lifecycles.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical parts in the aerospace industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Negotiation skills, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Ability to lead commercial market development and manage customer portfolios.
- Efficient teamwork and implementation of analysis and writing techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software tools.
