Aircraft Technician Job Description

Job Summary:

As a skilled Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and examining aircraft components to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and examine aircraft components to identify any defects or issues that may affect the aircraft's performance and safety.
  • Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures and functional components to meet industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance operations, such as replacing equipment and components to prevent downtime and extend the lifespan of the aircraft.
  • Interpret specifications and diagrams to inform installation, development, and operation activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum ITE holder or GCE 'O' Level in Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in practical and documented aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Base Maintenance activities is an added advantage.
