Key Actuary Position

About the Role:

This role offers a unique opportunity to join our actuarial team, working closely with clients and stakeholders on high-impact projects. We are seeking an expert who can interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and leading the delivery of client engagements, including IFRS 17, Appointed Actuary work, actuarial valuation, pricing and product development, actuarial modelling, Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) and due diligence.

They will also perform evaluations in areas related to financial risk, product distribution and capital issues. Additionally, they will work with advanced financial modeling approaches and systems, designing valuation and Asset Liability Management (ALM) frameworks.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in the life actuarial team or an actuarial consulting firm
  • Newly or nearly qualified with either the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), the Society of Actuaries (US) or the Institute of Actuaries of Australia
  • Good knowledge of Prophet software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
