Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and efficient material ordering, reception, and distribution.
  • Proactively communicate with colleagues to identify and resolve material delays, stock distribution issues, and stock deviations.
  • Collaborate with the distribution department to schedule outbound shipments, plan, and prepare transport documentation.
  • Support other departments as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide information on pricing requests and perform sourcing on specific materials.
  • Closely work with clients to manage warehouse and sourcing operations.
  • Perform regular stock counting and inventory control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Receive and control goods, ensuring they are properly stored and handled.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and cost avoidances.
  • Develop, review, and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • Comply with Marken policies, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or relevant experience.
  • Forklift permit.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge of IATA regulations, including Transportation of Dangerous Goods (if applicable).
  • Proficiency in proprietary software, Internet, and MS Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address operational issues.
  • Effective communication skills to convey and clarify routine information.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • High level of cooperativeness and attention to detail.
