Job Title: Dining Support Professional

The role of a Dining Support Professional is pivotal in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations within the dining area.

This dynamic position requires an individual to handle food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas, and provide support to chefs at various stations.

  • Responsibilities include preparing ingredients for dishes by washing, peeling, chopping, and storing them properly.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all prep and cooking areas is crucial.
  • Supporting dishwashing duties and waste disposal are additional key tasks.
  • Assisting in portioning, food labelling, and food storage organization is vital.
  • Refilling cooking stations and ensuring readiness for meal periods is also necessary.
  • FOLLOWING KITCHEN SAFETY PROCEDURES AND FOOD HANDLING STANDARDS IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE.
  • Cooperating with all kitchen staff to support daily kitchen operations is essential.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in Chinese and/or Seafood restaurants is required.
  • BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF KITCHEN HYGIENE AND FOOD HANDLING IS AN ADVANTAGE.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen is necessary.
  • A positive attitude, strong teamwork, and willingness to learn are highly valued.
  • Able to work 10 hours shift (6 days work week), weekends, and public holidays.
