We're looking for a skilled SAP HANA Database Administrator to join our team at Randstad (Schweiz) AG. As a key member of our database support team, you'll be responsible for managing and supporting our SAP HANA and MS-SQL database environments.

Responsibilities:
  1. Database Incident Management: Respond to and resolve database incidents in a timely manner to reduce system downtime.
  2. Database Monitoring: Monitor database events, manage alerts, and quickly restore services during outages.
  3. Service Request Processing: Process service requests for database changes, updates, and enhancements.
  4. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to prevent the recurrence of database issues.
  5. Database Builds and Support: Support the implementation and configuration of both standard and customized database builds.
  6. Day-to-Day Operations: Provide day-to-day operational support for SAP HANA and MS-SQL databases.
  7. Backup and Recovery: Ensure adherence to defined backup and recovery procedures.
  8. Database Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize database performance.
  9. Alert Monitoring: Handle alert monitoring and proactively address potential system bottlenecks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in database administration with a focus on SAP HANA and MS-SQL.
  • Strong understanding of RDBMS management in public or private cloud infrastructures.
  • Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, and decommissioning procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience in incident management and performance tuning in a 24x7 environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage database outages and coordinate efficient recovery.
  • Familiarity with alert monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
