Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud database architecture and infrastructure to support business workflows.
  • Optimize SQL queries and database performance for large-scale data operations, ensuring optimal system health and resource utilization.
  • Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and automate database processes, streamlining workflow efficiency and minimizing errors.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions, mitigating downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes, facilitating knowledge sharing and best practices adoption.
  • Support data migration initiatives from on-premises to cloud environments, enabling scalability and flexibility.
RequirementsEducation and Experience:

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Java, Go, or C++, is necessary. Strong SQL knowledge, with proven ability to optimize complex queries, is essential. Experience with performance tuning, cloud networking concepts, and high-performance scalable database systems is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of big data technologies and distributed database systems is preferred. Experience with data analytics tools and techniques, as well as understanding of trading systems and trade lifecycle, are also desirable. Background in NoSQL databases and data warehousing solutions is beneficial.
