Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team in a leadership role. The Principal Speech Therapist will provide clinical services, manage complex cases, and contribute to the organisation's efforts in providing quality patient care.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and experience in speech therapy to lead a team of professionals and make a meaningful contribution to the organization's goals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based clinical services with the multidisciplinary team
  • Manage complex cases and review clinical protocols
  • Contribute to the planning and development of new services
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and co-ordinate workload distribution
  • Manage day-to-day operations and optimize use of resources

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
  • Full registration with Allied Health Professions Council with a valid AHPC Practising Certificate
  • Valid membership with local professional body/association preferred
  • Valid BCLS Certification
