Senior Ophthalmology Specialist Opportunities

We are currently seeking a Senior Ophthalmology Specialist to join our esteemed eye hospital in Singapore. Our facility is renowned for delivering world-class Ophthalmology services to the population, with a faculty of 90 Ophthalmologists and over 800 staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in General Ophthalmology, with a specialization in Medical Retina, Ocular Inflammation, or Paediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus being highly desirable. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing complex ocular conditions, and contributing to research and education initiatives within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with various ocular conditions
  • Perform surgeries and laser procedures as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in research projects and contribute to the development of new treatments and technologies

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (e.g., FRCS, FRCOphth)
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in Ophthalmology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Working Hours:

  • 44 hours per week (5-day work week, Mon to Fri)
