Job Title: Floor Cleaning Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Floor Cleaning Machines: Safely operate floor cleaning machines and conduct routine route-based cleaning in accordance with schedules.
  • Machine Maintenance & Reporting: Perform basic daily maintenance checks and cleaning of the floor cleaning machine and report any machine malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety issues promptly to the supervisor.
  • Adherence to Safety & Regulations: Ensure compliance with all traffic rules, workplace safety, and health regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Documentation & Logs: Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents encountered during operations.
  • Support Ground Cleaning Crew: Coordinate with ground cleaning teams to ensure comprehensive cleaning of assigned areas and may assist with minor manual cleaning duties when required.
  • Customer & Public Interaction: Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when dealing with the public or clients in the course of duties.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualification: Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) or equivalent.
  • Driving Licence: A Valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence is required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in operating heavy vehicles or floor cleaning machines is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to follow schedules and routes independently, good awareness of road safety and traffic conditions, basic understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Others: Physically fit to work in outdoor environments, willing to work on weekends and public holidays, able to communicate in basic English and/or local languages for work-related communication.
