Reservations Operations Manager

Worldwide Hotels Management (V) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Reservations Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Front Office department, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of reservations and ensuring that all bookings are accurately entered into our computer systems in accordance with Accor standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum NITEC qualification and at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a hospitality or travel industry setting. They should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
This role offers a competitive salary of SGD $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as comprehensive training, opportunities for career growth, and a dynamic work environment.
Job Description:- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in answering, confirming, and ensuring all bookings are accurately entered into the computer system based on Accor standards
- Ensure filing of reservations correspondence are done systematically by the agents
- Train team members in accordance to Accor's standards (Data Entry / Profile maintenance) and familiarize them with different booking platforms of Accor
- Understand Accor Live Limitless program and execute bookings via members' points and answer enquiries on membership redemption for bookings
- Inform Front Office Manager, Director of Revenue, and Director of Operations on all matters pertaining to no shows and Hotel's reservations
- Highlight unusual statistics discrepancies
- Complete +3 and +1 arrival checks daily, ensuring rates, dates, mode of payment, comments, etc. are updated accurately based on correspondence from TA/Sales/OTA/Siteminder
- Charge all pre-payment required reservations on a daily basis unless special billing instruction (TAs/OTAs)
- Check OTA extranets daily to ensure all reservations are interfaced and synced to PMS, especially for on-day arrivals
- Clear emails timely, particularly feedback follow-ups or escalated to relevant parties
- Follow up with Agents on traces left by FO Team
- Follow up with Invoices and Group Rooming list with Sales Team
- Work closely with Sales department on group reservations and critical booking dates
- Work closely with Sales Managers on special requests or follow-ups required for Corporate / FIT bookings
- Ensure groups have full payment received prior to arrival if not a validated credit facility has been set up
- Politely decline on closed out dates and offer alternative dates
- Maintain rooms availability for sale and changes in hotel room rates
- Communicate with Operational Departments for potential overbooking periods
- Work with Housekeeping and Engineering on preventive maintenance schedule
- Work with Front Office on Upselling goals achievement
- Strive to achieve ADR & Occupancy goals set by Director of Revenue and General Manager
- Maintain an organized electronic mailbox, ensuring information is communicated clearly to one another in the team
- Review and keep correspondences in shared drive for Front Office team's print out and verification when required
- Perform any other duties directed by Management
Requirements:
- Attained minimum NITEC or higher qualification
- At least 1-2 years of supervisory/management role prior
- Preferably have working experiences in the hospitality or travel industry
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to multi-task and time-management, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of using Opera Cloud PMS will be an added advantage
