Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated music educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have experience in educating students of varying ages and abilities. They will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, motivating students, and providing constructive feedback. A passion for music theory and practical techniques is essential. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a positive attitude. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and examination syllabuses.
  • Teach music theory, aural skills, and practical techniques to students preparing for examinations.
  • Source and acquire suitable teaching materials and resources for music lessons.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment, encouraging progress and motivation in students.
  • Assess students' abilities, providing constructive feedback and writing reports for parental feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on group activities, such as camps and exam preparation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM)*G8
  • Experience in teaching or related fields preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Location: Singapore
