Job Title: T&C Engineer - Waste Management

We are seeking a skilled T&C Engineer to support our client in Singapore. As a T&C Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing testing and commissioning activities for large-scale industrial projects.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the T&C Manager in overseeing all testing and commissioning activities of Contractors, including coordination of activities that interface with the client.
  • Supporting the T&C Manager to lead the OE's proposed testing and commissioning team and coordinate with its Resident Site Supervision (RSS) Team and OE's design team as well as the Contractors to review the development of the Contractors testing and commissioning plan and the Contractors execution of their plan in order to achieve the Project milestones for each of the EPC Contracts.
  • Overseeing the whole of each Contractors testing and commissioning activities, and the interfaces between EPC1 and EPC2 as relevant, which should commence from dry/cold to hot commissioning to successful completion of entire commissioning process and trial run, including optimisation of plant operation with the Contractors and O&M teams.
  • Participating in regular T&C Coordination Meetings with the Contractor and/or Other Contractors on adjacent sites.
  • Performing any other matters that may from time to time be delegated by the T&C Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have experience in testing and commissioning of large-scale solid waste management projects or large-scale industrial/process/utilities projects, including:

  • Testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, equipment installation, and performance testing.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment installation, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills during commissioning.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience in coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients during T&C activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant professional certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of large-scale solid waste management projects or large-scale industrial/process/utilities projects.
  • Strong mechanical experience and background.
  • Experience with T&C procedures, protocols, and standards for industrial or utilities projects.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment installation, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills during commissioning.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience in coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients during T&C activities.
