About Us

As a system architect, you will design and lead our network platform, working at the forefront of financial markets, building global connectivity, and integrating complex networks in the financial services industry. Your vision and expertise will drive our innovation in this fast-paced environment, including low latency trading systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, implement, and operate Virtu's network infrastructure, leveraging your technical expertise to create high-performance systems.
  2. Collaborate with software engineers to transform network operations at scale, developing efficient processes and solutions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong background in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, Multicast).
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages, as well as expertise in TCP/IP and the OSI model.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills, with excellent communication and writing abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Linux utilities and various OS, as well as knowledge of network security (firewalls: Fortinet, Palo Alto, CheckPoint).
  • SQL proficiency, with a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
