Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced LNG Shipping Analyst to provide real-time support to customers and maintain close engagement with the LNG shipping market.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our commercial LNG shipping database, which includes detailed information on fleet activity, fixtures, and operations.
  • Analyse market intelligence such as vessel positions and trade flows to support long-term chartering strategies and deliver daily market reports to senior management and clients.
  • Develop analytical expertise to support strategic client recommendations, including LNG shipping supply and demand modelling.
  • Prepare and own the preparation of daily market reports for top management and clients.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the LNG shipping industry and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the LNG shipping market.
Requirements
  • A strong numerical/analytical background is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience working in shipping is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently for extended periods leveraging industry experience and leadership capabilities.
  • Driven individual that can identify value and develop commercial constructs to enable value capture.
  • Global network of industry contacts and someone that is not afraid to develop new relationships proactively.
  • Global and international mindset and ability to work effectively with different cultures.
