Key Responsibilities:

  • This program allows interns to engage with various Business Units and functions, contributing significantly through challenging assignments. Engineering roles are available in Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and more. Internship projects will be tailored to align with the candidate's skills, interests, and organizational needs.

Education and Experience:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in the Junior or Senior year, in fields such as Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Bioengineering. Completion of courses in engineering mechanics and mechanical design is advantageous.

Additional Skills:

  • Comfortable in a laboratory setting, demonstrating hands-on skills and high motivation. Ability to adhere to protocols, conduct testing, and effectively communicate data outcomes.
  • Strong desire to gain relevant industry experience, with a particular interest in the healthcare and medical device sectors being beneficial.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in design software, such as Solidworks or Creo Parametric, is preferred.
  • Must maintain good academic standing (3.0 GPA or equivalent).
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required; exceptions may apply.
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, and refine designs based on specified requirements.
  • Conduct functional and mechanical testing of new designs, generating innovative ideas for device enhancements based on test findings.
  • Assist in documenting concerns within the production department and contribute to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Provide documentation support and prepare written reports on testing and design processes.
  • Actively engage in design reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers.
  • Comply with all company policies and regulations (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety standards) and take appropriate measures to ensure personal and environmental safety.
