Job Title: Senior Financial Crime Analyst

Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to identify and prevent fraudulent activities within the organization. This involves working closely with the Cards Operations Department to detect and mitigate potential threats.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Investigate unauthorized transactions with customers, ensuring a thorough understanding of the issue and taking appropriate measures to rectify it.

  2. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address potential fraud risks, implementing strategies to minimize these risks.

  3. Liaise with other departments on cases related to fraud prevention, providing regular updates and insights to inform decision-making.

  4. Support dispute resolution processes involving rejected transactions, working closely with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.

  5. Contribute to chargeback and recovery efforts, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  6. Compile and submit regular reports detailing fraud occurrences and preventive measures, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.

  • Experience in commercial banking and fraud prevention, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Able to think critically and strategically, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed.

  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software, with experience in generating reports and presenting findings.
