Job Title: Heavy Duty Truck Driver

Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our team. As a Prime Mover Driver, you will be responsible for transporting containers between port terminals and customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects immediately.
  • Safely secure containers and adhere to safety standards.
  • Accurately follow assigned job orders and delivery instructions.
  • Familiarize yourself with port procedures and traffic regulations while on-site.
  • Collaborate with controllers and operations team for timely job execution.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing the company on the road and at customer sites.
  • Keep accurate records of delivery schedules and report any delays or incidents.

Requirements:

  • Citizenship or permanent residency in Singapore.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience driving heavy duty trucks in Singapore.
  • A valid Singapore Class 4 driving license.
  • Familiarity with PSA port operations, including pre-gate processes and on-road transport procedures.
  • A good knowledge of the Singapore road network and port access routes.
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle long hours or rotating shifts if required.
  • Reliability, safety consciousness, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
