Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to laboratory staff, ensuring effective management of operations and staff.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and accreditation standards for laboratory operations.
  • Phlebotomy and Sample Management: Oversee phlebotomy services and ensure proper sample management and handling.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with laboratory staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Utilize analytical skills and decision-making capabilities to resolve problems and make informed decisions.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Diploma/Degree in Medical Technology with Medical Technologist License and Malaria Parasite License.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a clinical laboratory setting with a supervisory role in managing operations and staff.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to lead and supervise staff, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
