Responsibilities

  • Design and develop hardware modules for ethernet switches.
  • Create test plans and develop test programs for the hardware modules.
  • Verify functionality according to specifications on both FPGA and silicon platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Familiarity with Ethernet Switch layer 2 and layer 3 protocols is essential.
  • Good knowledge of router or switch SOC system design is necessary.
  • Familiarity with SOC architecture design, hardware/software partitioning, processor subsystems (ARM cortex-A/M/R), memory subsystems (SRAM/DRAM/Flash), and interface peripherals (Ethernet/PCIe/LIN/CAN/FlexRay/SDHC/I2S/SPI/I2C/UART/ADC) is required.
  • Familiarity with programming languages C, Python, Verilog/VHDL, systemC, and System Verilog is essential.
