Job Opportunity:

As a seasoned Cost Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality products to customers worldwide. Your expertise will be instrumental in achieving cost-effectiveness and driving business growth.

  • You will be responsible for conducting target price estimations with 'Should' cost analysis to support the procurement team in determining fair and reasonable pricing.
  • Conduct thorough cost control, identify cost drivers, and analyze variances to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive saving activities through master quotations, value-added engineering (VA/VE), and other initiatives.
  • Justify or validate product costs based on cost breakdowns, market indices, research, benchmarking, forecasting, and negotiation with suppliers.
  • Provide regular reports on spend projections, saving performance, and PPV projections with clear visualization and interpretation.
  • Support capex/opex budgeting with respective category leads and manage actual expenses within budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in product cost management is required.
  • Costing experience in EMS or multinational companies is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in cost estimation techniques are essential.
  • Able to interpret data conclusions effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving are critical.
  • Solid experience in data analytics and statistics, with a working knowledge of relevant tools (Excel, Access, SQL, Power BI, SAP, etc.).
