A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Officer to join our Asia Pacific Division in Singapore. As a key member of our Credit Department, you will be responsible for assessing credit applications, credit grading, and credit strategy for a portfolio of project and structured finance transactions in the renewables, infrastructure, transportation, and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and assess credit applications submitted by business units, preparing concise executive summaries for approval.
  • Establish action plans to minimize credit costs for credits likely to deteriorate.
  • Manage and maintain the accuracy of credit monitoring systems and client databases.
  • Conduct credit portfolio analysis, monitoring credit exposures, and controlling concentration risks.
  • Discuss potential deals with business units, adhering to head office's credit policy and appetite.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in credit analysis or risk management, preferably in Project Finance and/or the energy and infrastructure sector.
  • Strong working experience in assessing and managing credit risk for large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financing transactions and risks to diverse stakeholders.
  • Tertiary degree or qualification in a related field, such as finance and accounting or economics.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst or Chartered Accountant qualification is an added advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizing and planning skills, with team player attributes.
  • Keenness to learn, with a strong interest in the energy and infrastructure markets across the APAC region.
