Job Title: Transportation Systems Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Systems Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and commissioning of Automated People Mover (APM) systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to play a crucial role in managing the development of Changi Airport's Terminal 5.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in APM systems or rail transportation systems and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They must be able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a strong team player who can effectively coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Manage the comprehensive design and implementation of the APM system, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and specifications.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and successful outcomes.
  • Innovation & Technology: Incorporate the latest innovations in automation and transportation technologies to create a world-class APM system, enhancing the passenger experience and operational efficiency at T5.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the APM system meets all relevant international and local regulations, standards, and safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Up to 5 years of relevant experience in APM systems or rail transportation systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
