About the Role

A project engineer is required to play a key role in planning, coordinating and driving execution of major marine and geotechnical infrastructure projects.

  • Lead planning and scheduling of project activities, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones
  • Review and develop method statements, technical submissions, and resource plans for marine and reclamation works
  • Oversee on-site execution, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety, and quality standards
  • Act as primary coordinator between contractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams
  • Monitor progress, anticipate risks, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track
  • Provide technical input on methodologies, soil improvement, and coastal protection solutions
  • Lead QA/QC processes and ensure adherence to environmental and safety requirements
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and site teams, fostering technical growth and best practices

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil, Marine, Geotechnical, or Coastal Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 3 years' project experience in marine, dredging, reclamation, or geotechnical works, with proven site and planning exposure
  • Understanding of dredging equipment, reclamation techniques, soil behaviour, and coastal protection methods
  • Experience in project planning tools (e.g. Primavera, MS Project) an advantage
