Regional Communications Specialist

The role of a Regional Communications Specialist involves supporting the development and execution of communications strategies for regional partners.

This includes drafting press releases, briefing notes, media pitches and social content that advance partner objectives, maintaining media lists, monitoring coverage and preparing clear, timely reports.

The successful candidate will collaborate with senior consultants to shape messages, engage media, and coordinate project tasks that keep campaigns running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and disseminate high-quality content across various channels
  • Maintain and update media lists, track coverage and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Support the planning and logistics of press briefings, interviews and online events
  • Conduct research to inform strategy, trend analysis and thought-leadership planning
  • Monitor industry developments in Southeast Asia and share relevant insights with internal teams and partners
  • Coordinate with designers, translators and other vendors to deliver quality materials on schedule
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Up to two years of internship or agency experience preferred, although strong fresh graduates are welcome
  • Advanced written and spoken English, with confidence engaging local and international stakeholders
  • Familiarity with at least one Southeast Asian media landscape and a keen interest in regional current affairs
  • Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail and comfort managing multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of media-monitoring or outreach tools is an advantage
