Project Architect Role Overview

As a skilled Project Architect, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the architectural aspects of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project briefs and lead the development of project proposals;
  • Prepare planning applications and regulatory documentation;
  • Assist in the detailed design process and coordinate design information;
  • Liaise with authorities to obtain statutory approvals;
  • Attend site visits and record minutes/discussions;
  • Coordinate site issues with the project architect;
  • Produce and analyze detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes;
  • Understand how design aspects influence performance and functional issues;
  • Follow up on the detailed design process and coordinate design information;
  • Coordinate and liaise with consultants on the project team;
  • Advise clients on procuring contracts for their work;
  • Lead the preparation of tender documentation and construction drawings;
  • Administer contracts and project certifications;
  • Obtain feedback from clients on work in progress and finished results;
  • Make site visits to check on progress and ensure timely completion;
  • Solve problems that may occur during building/construction stages;
  • Carry out defect inspections.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in the architectural industry in Singapore or Malaysia;
  • Able to work within a team and in a fast-paced environment;
  • Familiar with building regulations (Singapore or Malaysia);
  • Strong portfolio;
  • Good working attitude, proactive and conscientious.
