About This Role
This role is focused on performing IT security risk assessments, identifying potential threats, and developing mitigation strategies to protect the organization's systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of threat modeling, risk management principles, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct IT security risk assessments across various technology layers to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders on security-related matters.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security trends and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in information security and risk management, preferably in a large organization.
- Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk management principles, and industry standards such as ISO 27001.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing senior business stakeholders and building strong relationships.
- Proactive, team-oriented individual with excellent leadership skills.
