Maintenance Technician, Cargo

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician, Cargo to join our team.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a Cargo Maintenance Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cargo facilities.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • You will be responsible for planning and organizing Weekly and Daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program to ensure minimum downtime and optimal performance of our equipment.

  • In addition, you will be responsible for the performance and discipline of the technicians on shift duty and coordinate minor and major repairs, replacement & overhaul of equipment, plant, and facilities at component & system level.

  • Your key responsibilities will also include ensuring quick response to trouble-shoot, rectify, and re-activate equipment, plant, and facilities if unable, to organize recovery to workshop to repair, rectify and make good, and put back into operation with minimum delays and downtime.

  • You will also be responsible for verifying the accuracy of computer daily job sheets and time keeping, monitoring and reviewing work methods, conditions, and housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment, verifying and ensuring workshop equipment are maintained in good working condition, verifying parts for replacement are beyond economic repair (BER) and cannot be reconditioned, and any other duties as assigned.

  • This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires a strong background in building maintenance and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum Vocational/ITE certificate or equivalent in Building Maintenance, experience in servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant and facilities will be an added advantage, and must possess minimum LTA class 3 driving license.
