About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join our team at GXS Bank. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing and running sourcing events in partnership with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to drive value creation from the external supply base.
  • Execute strategic sourcing events, including RFI/RFQ/RFP, to select the most suitable suppliers for business needs.
  • Monitor and report procurement commercial (savings) and compliance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to Senior Management.
  • Ensure all supplier assessment and selection recommendations are reviewed and supported before submission to approval committees.
  • Support business teams with agreement/contract requests to renew existing relationships with strategic suppliers.
  • Maintain a database of contracts and supplier information.

Requirements

  • Over 8 years of experience in third-party procurement in technology categories in banking.
  • Substantial experience in managing and negotiating contracts/agreements with suppliers, with knowledge on local compliance and business policy requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to confidently present complex information.
  • A data-driven individual with a strong bias for action, strong analytical capabilities, and a holistic understanding of business.
  • Willing to take on new challenges and be adaptive to a fast-growing and dynamic start-up environment.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure and tight schedules, cope with several tasks simultaneously, and be deadline-oriented.
  • Creativity and comfortable with 'blank sheet of paper' assignments and problem solver in a complex environment.
  • Ambitious, self-driven, and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment.
