Independent Health and Safety Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced health and safety professional to join our team as an Independent Health & Safety Reviewer. In this role, you will play a vital part in assessing health and safety practices across our organization's sites.
About the Role- This is an exciting opportunity for a health and safety expert to contribute to the development of our health and safety management system.
You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing our organization's health and safety policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reviews of our organization's health and safety management system.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Chartered Member of IOSH (or equivalent).
- Experience in the educational sector, with an understanding of facilities-based compliance.
- An ability to understand cultural differences towards compliance in a global setting.
- An interest or experience in understanding the principles of international health and safety legislation.
