Equipment Calibration Specialist

The Equipment Calibration Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of laboratory equipment.

  • Perform calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure it operates within specified limits.
  • Maintain accurate records of calibration procedures and results.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and initiate repairs as necessary.
  • Disassemble equipment to repair or replace defective parts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all testing and measuring equipment used in the laboratory.
  • Coordinate inventory purchases to ensure timely delivery of replacement parts.

About This Role:

This role requires a high degree of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in equipment calibration or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of calibration procedures and principles.
