We are seeking a talented researcher and educator to join our faculty as a Professor of Health Informatics. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of research and teaching at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), undertaking high-quality internationally leading research in chronic disease epidemiology and health informatics.
As a key member of our team, you will be expected to undertake research activities, manage and undertake research projects, publish in international peer-reviewed journals, review manuscripts and grant applications when appropriate. You will also be responsible for developing effective collaborations with academic and industry partners locally and internationally.
The appointee will be expected to develop and pursue research focused on the investigation of the determinants of chronic diseases in the Singapore population, leveraging the SG100K, a landmark longitudinal population cohort study of 100,000 Singaporeans from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake high-quality research in the area of chronic disease epidemiology and health informatics, informing the development of effective public health interventions.
- Develop a programme of work within the SG100K study, advancing chronic disease epidemiology, data linkages, and health informatics in the study.
- Supervise junior faculty members and research staff, contributing to their education and professional development.
