As a seasoned auditing professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records. Your responsibilities will be multifaceted, including:

  • Audit planning: You will work closely with senior management to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these.
  • System review documentation: You will conduct thorough reviews of internal controls and processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Audit fieldwork: You will lead teams of auditors in conducting on-site audits, gathering evidence, and testing transactions.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and cash flow statements: You will ensure that all financial statements are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Group consolidation of accounts and related schedules: You will coordinate the preparation of consolidated financial statements, taking into account the financial performance of subsidiaries and branches.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements: You will ensure that our clients' businesses are compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaboration with team members: You will work closely with other auditors to deliver high-quality audits and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Recognized degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA):
  • At least 2-3 years of audit experience, preferably in an audit firm:
  • Familiarity with regulatory and reporting requirements in audit consultancy:
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and possess strong interpersonal skills and client relationship skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and drafting email replies to clients:
  • Willingness to travel overseas on audit and related assignments as and when needed:
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS/consolidation of accounts/bookkeeping is advantageous:
